How to make your retreat center listing stand out

A well-crafted listing attracts potential participants but also provides them with the information they need to make an informed decision. Follow these best practices to ensure your listing stands out and drives queries about your retreat.



Your Retreat Center Name


Your retreat center's listing title is simply the name of your center.


Photo Gallery


Using high-quality and diverse images is crucial for attracting visitors and event organizers. Images set the tone for your retreat center and showcase what makes it unique.



Basic Listings


Basic Listings display up to 3 main images at the top of the listing details page. Here are the recommended pictures to use for Basic listings:





1. Exterior Shot (the Hero shot): A wide image capturing the entire center to make a strong first impression.


2. Activities & Recreational Facilities: Showcase guests engaged in activities near defining recreational facilities.


3. Accommodation: Highlight where guests will stay, ensuring it looks comfortable and inviting.



Premium Listings


Premium Listings display up to 8 photos at the top of the listing details page. Upload these core images for Premium Listings:



 

  1. Natural Surroundings: Capture the essence of the location.
  2. Exterior Shot (the Hero Shot): Show the entire center.
  3. Common Areas: Highlight communal spaces.
  4. Activities & Recreational Facilities: Showcase engaging activities.
  5. Service Experience: Highlight personalized services.
  6. Accommodation: Display guest rooms.
  7. Food & Cuisine: Emphasize the culinary journey.
  8. Testimonials & People: Show past guests enjoying their experiences.


Remember to select the "main image" that will display in search results – the Exterior/Hero Shot.




Logo Image


Use an image of your logo's icon or a vertical version, and ensure it's in a square format for Premium level membership.






Since the logo is directly next to the Listing Title, it’s best to use an image of the icon or “brandmark”instead of your whole logo with your retreat’s name in it.  


Otherwise, you can use a vertical or “stacked” version of your logo. (See image below for reference.)




Videos


Post videos describing your retreat center's philosophy and experience. Videos must be hosted on platforms like YouTube or Vimeo.
